Apple Gallete Happiness

Hello, darlings! Today I’m sharing with you a quick little recipe for an easy apple gallete that’ll make you feel fancy. Takes 15 minutes to prep and 20 minutes to bake!

What you’ll need:

-2 apples (use any kind you want, but I’m partial to Granny Smith)

-Pre-made pie crust

-Butter (5 tbs)

-Brown sugar (2 tbs)

-Cinnamon (2 tsp)

How you’ll do it:

1. Heat oven to 375.

2. Roll out pie crust (I usually set this up on a baking tray).

3. Peel and thinly slice apples.

4. Layer apples in a circle in the middle of the pie crust. Be sure to leave enough room around the edges to be able to fold it up around the apples.

5. Once folded, brush the crust and exposed apples with your melted butter (and if you have a little extra, but drizzle it into the apples some more).

6. Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon all over that bad boy.

7. Pop it in the over and bake until crust is golden and apples are tender (about 20 minutes).

You can too this with whatever you want! Ice cream, caramel drizzle, chocolate drizzle, etc. The possibilities are endless and delicious! Happy baking!
