Hello and welcome to my first post EVER! Today’s post is dedicated to the to-die-for creme brûlée that I had from Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen this past Monday (my birthday).

When I tell you that I have not had a creme brûlée this good in yeeeeears, I am dead serious. The last time I had one this delicious, I was at a cafe in Paris during study abroad back in college. The top was a thick layer of perfectly caramelized sugar with that solid crunch when you tap it with the spoon. The texture was smooth and creamy, with a simple but refined vanilla flavor. Paired with the fresh whipped cream, the wafer cookie, and the berries: I was in heaven. 10/10 would recommend this to anyone who heads to a Pappadeaux any time soon.
